The operator of a four-wheeler was found dead Thursday morning on Richardson Road off Lake Centralia, where he had run into a tree that had fallen across the roadway. The alleged victim was thrown from the four-wheeler.
The accident is believed to have occurred around six Thursday morning, but the victim was not found for several hours. The name of the person killed has not been released pending notification of relatives.
Marion County Coroner Claude Howell pronounced the victim dead at the scene. He died as a result of head trauma.
