Salem Police say one person was injured in a two vehicle crash early Thursday evening on the west side of Salem.
Police report a pickup driven by 28-year-old Brock Giddens of Route 45 in Louisville turned eastbound onto West Main in front of the Walmart Store and collided with an eastbound car driven by 66-year-old Donna Moore of Lois Lane in Salem.
Moore was injured and taken to Salem Township Hospital via United Medical Response. Giddens escaped injury. He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called to the scene to assist. The crash was reported at 5:20 Thursday evening.
