Centralia Police arrested 34-year-old Larry Gates of Chicago for aggravated battery to a police officer and an Illinois Department of Corrections. He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 33-year-old Amber Thompson of North Broadway in Salem early Wednesday morning at her home on three counts of domestic battery. She was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Salem Police arrested 35-year-old Lonnie Williamson of North Poplar in Centralia for alleged domestic battery at a home in the 400 block of South Franklin. The alleged victim was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries. Williamson was taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
Three others are being held on outstanding warrants.
- 60-year-old Allen Wilson of Dover Street in Centralia was arrested on a no bond Marion County failure to appear felony warrant.
- 48-year-old Helen Hollingsead, who told authorities she was homeless, was arrested on outstanding non bond Marion and Fayette County felony failure to appear warrants.
- 33-year-old Leanna Ray of Old U.S. 51 in Sandoval was arrested by Centralia Police on a no bond Marion County felony failure to appear warrant.
