A 45-year-old Centralia man was injured in a motorcycle crash on Sunday night when trying to avoid a dog that ran into the roadway.
Centralia Police say Noah Mahaffey of North Elm was traveling westbound on McCord Street near Perrine when he locked the breaks and the cycle crashed.
Mahaffey was transported via Lifestar Ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries. The Centralia City Fire Department was also called out to assist.
The crash occurred at 7:49 Sunday evening.
