Father McGivney will play for the IHSA 1a state soccer title today when they kickoff with Pleasant Plains at 2:30 from North Central College in Naperville.
The 3rd place game was played yesterday with Johnsburg beating Timothy Christian 1-0.
The 2a semifinals had Crystal Lake Central beating Lemont 5-0 and Morton over St Francis 4-1. Thei9r 3rd place game is at 9:30 this morning and the title game at 4:45.
In 3a, Edwardsville lost to New Trier 2-1 and Naperville Central over Gurnee Warren 5-0. Edwardsville will play for the 3rd place trophy today at 11:30 and the title game is tonight at 7pm.
