The Salem Wildcats will head to Vandalia for their 2a regional semifinal taking on powerhouse and top-seed Teutopolis for a trip to this weekend’s championship game. They will play at 4:30 and will be the second game of the day following St Anthony and Vandalia at 2pm.
Also in 2a regional semifinals, Olney takes on the hosts at Effingham, Freeburg and Wesclin play at Nashville.
The Centralia Orphans and Mt Vernon Rams will play for a 3rd and final time this season when they square off at Mascoutah with a 4:30 first pitch. The Orphans own a pair of wins over the Rams in conference play this year. The other semifinal will be top-seed Mascoutah taking on Cahokia at 7.
The South Central Cougars will head to Louisville to take on top-seed North Clay at 4pm.
Also, Odin/Patoka/Sandoval will take on the hosts at New Athens at 4:30. Woodlawn and Sparta play at Wayne City.
