Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 26-year-old Jordan Rinehart of Brubaker Road in Salem for domestic battery and aggravated assault. He was taken to the Marion County Jail await further court action.
An electrical short in a furnace created a smoke scare at a Marion County Housing Authority Duplex in Centralia Saturday night. Centralia City Firemen isolated and turned off the furnace and cleared smoke from the residence at 722 East Howard. The fire call came in at 9:37 Saturday evening.
