Olney scored 7 runs in the second inning to beat Salem as the Wildcats played their final home game of the season, losing 13-3.  Hudson Gambill, Luke Boldt, Carter Lowe, Angel Salgado and Owen Tennyson had hits with Owen driving in a run.  Salem is 9-24 as they open up the post season Monday with a 2a regional quarterfinal game at Flora.

 

The Centralia Orphans scored two runs in the fifth inning to break a tie and held off Highland 5-4.  Gabe Houser went 2-3 driving in two runs, Rhett Lambert also had 2 hits.  Dax Snow gave up 3 earned runs in the complete game win.  The Orphans will travel to Effingham for a post season tune up tomorrow.

 

The Mt Vernon Rams fell to Greenville 5-3 despite outhitting the Comets 10-5.  Bronx Hefner drove in a run with Maxwell Nowak and Cale Maurer getting multiple Rams hits.  The Rams travel to Freeburg today.

 

Waterloo Gibault scored 5 runs in the fifth inning to beat Christ Our Rock 8-1.  They plated the five runs on five hits.  Evan Beal went 3-3 at the plate in the loss and drove in a run. Noah Kenley added an RBI.  Blake Hanke took the loss.
