Centralia Police say both drivers were injured in a crash at 5th and Maple Streets in Centralia late Thursday night.

Police reports indicate 48-year-old Joshua Favors of South Sycamore in Centralia was traveling eastbound on 5th Street when he disobeyed a stop sign at 5th and Maple. He collided with a southbound car on Maple driven by 26-year-old Jacob Jordan of South Maple Street in Centralia.

Both drivers were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.

Favors was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign and no mandatory insurance. Both the Centralia City Fire Department and Lifestar Ambulance assisted at the scene.

The crash occurred at 10:54 Thursday night.
