A Belle Rive man was seriously injured when his tractor slid down a hill pinning his feet between the tractor and a tree.
Donald Hayes of North Garrett Road in the Belle Rive area was able to get to his phone to call 911 for help.
Jefferson Fire helped free Hayes who was then airlifted to a St. Louis Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The incident occurred around 11 Thursday morning.
