Salem’s Mya Russell and Kai Graham can now add Sectional bass fishing champions on their resume.
After winning the Forbes Lake Regional last week, the Salem tandem won the Lake of Egypt Sectional on Thursday catching a limit for 19.63 fish easily beating Joppa. Mya Russell had the Big Bass at 5.04 pounds. They will fish at the State Tournament on Lake Shelbyville.
Also advancing were both boats from Highland, Triad, DuQuoin, Waltonville, Herrin, Benton and Goreville.
