In game one, the Wildcats banged out 16 hits including a season high 9 extra base hits and pulled away from the Pinckneyville Celtics with a 13-3 win. Isaac Knapp had 4 hits including a triple, two doubles and scored 3 runs. Nolan Krutsinger had 3 hits, 3 runs scored and 1 rbi while Jacob Butts had 3 hits including a double with 5 rbis. Brantley Brumfield had 2 triples and 2 rbis while Kaden Williams had 2 doubles and 2 rbis. Ethan Parrett doubled and Weston Crouse singled and scored twice. Krutsinger and Knapp combined on the mound only allowing 2 earned runs with 9 strikeouts.
In game 2, the Wildcats had 15 hits and knocked off the Nashville Sting 16-8. Knapp tripled and doubled scoring 4 runs with 2 rbis. Krutsinger had 3 hits scoring 3 runs and knocking in 3 rbis. Butts had 2 hits scoring 2 runs with 3 rbis. Williams had 2 hits and 2 rbis while Zach Jones also had 2 hits and an rbi. Brumfield had 2 hits and 2 runs scored while Maxsen Tiemann doubled and scored a run. Crouse had a single and an rbi, Parrett singled and Izac Holsapple scored once and had an rbi. Crouse got the win on the mound going 3 innings allowing only 1 earned run with 1 strikeout.
The Wildcats improve to 14-6 and play Wednesday night at Sesser.
