A 33-year-old Central City man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a stolen or converted vehicle and possession of under five grams of methamphetamine.
Steven Jones of Richmond Heights Mobile Home Park admitted to being in possession of a motorcycle owned by another man knowing it was stolen or converted in February of this year. The possession of meth charge stemmed from an arrest in October 2025. As part of the plea agreement, an obstructing charge filed as part of the same incident as the possession of methamphetamine was dropped. Jones faces extended terms on both cases due to a prior Marion County felony conviction.
After completing his prison term, Jones will have to serve six months court supervision.
