The girls traveled to St. Louis and put together an incredible weekend, going 4-0 and bringing home the championship. Salem Select scored 15 goals while only allowing 3 goals the entire tournament.
Leading the attack was Stevie Nix with 7 goals, followed by Nia Garden with 3, Sadie Holzhausen with 2, and one each from Hadleigh Belfiore, Norah Lother, and Aubrey Branch. Goals were assisted by Brenna Lowry, Holzhausen, Nix, Belfiore, and Brilynn Glasco
Hadley Michel held it down in goal all weekend with numerous amazing saves that kept the defense confident and strong. The defensive line of Lucy Scott, Charlie Foster, Glasco, and Belfiore stood tall and allowed very few balls to get through.
The midfield of Harper Nix, Josie Mann, and Sofia Jourdan did a great job feeding the ball and creating opportunities for the offense to break through.
