Day 1 – Pool Play
Salem Cats 12u team went 2-1 on Saturday.
Game 1
Salem Cats 12u falls to Cumberland Vets 11u 8-6 on Saturday.  Salem Cats 12u accumulated 8 hits in the game.  Khaeler Willimas led the team going 2-for-3 and 3 RBIs.  Kaylee Carroll and Shaylee Vest both went 1-for-3 with 1 RBI each.
Game 2
Salem Cats 12u won 11-3 over St. Anthony Dawgs 12u 11-3.Kaylee stepped in the circle fist for Salem Cats 12u.  The pitcher gave up 1 hit and 3 runs (1 earned) over 2 2/3 innings, striking out 6 and walking 2.  Shaylee Vest pitched 3 innings in relief for Salem Cats 12u. The pitcher gave up only 1 hit and 0 runs while striking out 3 and walking none.  Salem piled up 8 hits in the game.  Shaylee, Khaeler and Nadea each drove in 2 runs.  Julianna Rushing, Kaylee Carroll, Ana Thompson and Harper Strubhard each drove in 1 run.
Game 3
Salem Cats won big over Clinton County Belles 12-0 on Saturday.  Nadea earned the win for Salem as the starter allowed 2 hits, 0 runs over 3 innings, striking out 5 and walking none.  Jersey Thorpe led Salem with 2 hits in 2 at bats.  Shaylee, Jersey, Nadea, Izzie Hall, Kaylee and Julianna each drove in 1 run for Salem.
Sunday Bracket Play
Salem Cats beat Dieterich Crush 12u 9-0 on Sunday to make it to the semi-final.
Julianna started in the circle for Salem.  The hurler gave up 0 hits and 0 runs over 2 innings striking out none and walking none.  Nadea came in relief as she surrendered 1 hit and 0 runs over 3 innings, striking out 7 and walking none.  Shaylee led Salem going 1-for-2 in the game with 2 RBIs.  Jersey and Harper Strubhart each with 1 RBI.  Mira Deadmond, Harper McCarthy, Khaeler, Nadea,  and Kaylee each collect 1 hit for Salem.  Salem cats were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.
In the semi-final game, both Salem Cats and Lady Raptors were strong in the circle but Salem Cats defeated Lady Raptors 12u 3-2.  Kaylee earned the win for Salem as the pitcher surrendered 2 hits and 2 runs over 5 1/3 innings, striking out 8 and walking 3. Nadea appeared in relief for Salem.  Kaylee went 1-for-2 with 3 RBIs.  Khaeler and Julianna each collected 1 hit for Salem.  Salem again was sure-handed and did not commit a single error.
Championship game
Competitive Game Ends in Walkoff as Salem Cats Falls to Cumberland Vets 9-8.
The game was tied with 8 in the bottom of the 5th inning when Ivy B from Vets singled, scoring 1 run.  Salem got on the board in the top of the 1st inning after Khaeler singled to right field and Vets committed an error, each scoring 1 run.
Ella from Vts hit a double down left field line which helped the Vets tie the game at 2 in the bottom of the 2nd inning.  An error gave the Vets the lead 4-2, in the bottom of the third.
Salem tied the game in the top of the 4th inning thanks to a double by Kaylee and single by Shaylee.  Vets took the lead 6-4 in the bottom of the 4th inning thanks to singles by Ella and Kinley.
Salem made the score 8-6 in the top of the 5th inning after Jersey singled,  scoring 1 run, Julianna singled, scoring 2 runs and Izzie Hall grounded out scoring 1 run.  Vets took the lead in the bottom of the fifth after Cheney and Eden hit a double to center field each scoring 1 run.
Kaylee led things off in the circle for Salem.  The starter surrendered 8 hits, 6 runs over 2 1/3 innings, striking out 3 and walking 2.  Julianna led Salem with 2 hits in 3 at bats.  Kaylee and Juianna each with 2 RBIs.
