The Centralia Annies split their double header with Columbia on Saturday. The Annies lost the opening game 3-2 in 8 innings on a Madeline Frein scored the go ahead run. Kinsley Hawthorne homered for Centralia. Emrie Quick went all 8 innings giving up 3 runs and striking out 7.
In the 2nd game, Quick would go 3-4 at the plate in the 10-6 win. Her day included a double. Addisyn Dukes homered and was the winning pitcher. Quick and Dukes had 3 hits each. The Annies are scheduled to play Mt Vernon this week in South 7 action. They will play at Mt Vernon on Tuesday and at Centralia Wednesday.
