The Indians scored 7 runs in the first and 9 more in the third to win the opener 17-2. The Cats had just one hit in the game, Bentley Bryan singled and scored. Scout Puricelli walked and scored the other Salem run.
Salem fell in the second game 11-1 as Mascoutah scored 6 runs in the opening inning. Jax Schubert had 2 hits for Salem and scored.
The Salem JV will host Roxana on Tuesday.
