The Franklin Park Middle School Golf Team welcomed DuQuoin, Rome, Selmaville, and St. Mary’s (Mt. Carmel) to Salem Country Club for a match yesterday. It was also 8th grade night for the Bobcats.
In the Varsity Boys match, Salem won with 128 strokes. Sawyer Clark finished 3rd overall with a 42. Carter Summers and EJ Wolfe tied for 4th with a 43. Grant Squibb finished 7th with a 45.
In the Varsity Girls match, Salem won with 153 strokes. Kinsley Gansauer placed 1st overall with a 43. Skylar Gaston tied for 5th with a 53. Breana Pennypacker finished 7th with a 57. Kennedy Knapp shot a 60.
The Franklin Park Golf Team will travel to Carlyle for a Jr. High tournament on Saturday.
