It started in the field events. Silas Lux was 2nd in the shot with a PR throw of 5’5.75” which ranks him 16th in the state of Illinois. Trey Clark was 5th in the discus, Payton Gullion 9th in the high jump.
On the track, the 4×100 team of Keegan CAin, Troy Keele, Avery Gullion and Marquis Ettress ran a season best 45.59. Alex Spencer was 9th in the 800. Avery and Payton Gullion both PR’d in the 400 with Avery running 53.24 and Payton a 54.20. Robby Shober ran a season best in the mile and Jacob Cape ran a personal best. The track team returns to the very tough Sparta Invitational on Friday
