Wildcat Fisherman Have Good Weekend on Water
The Wildcats fishing team competed over the weekend. Saturday they were at East Fork where bites were hard to come by. Zane Barthelemy and Lucas Hodge were 11th, Kai Graham and Jaxon Ward 16 and Landen Maxey and Keyton Grawe were also in the top 20 at 16th.
Sunday they were at Newton for an 80-boat field. Mya Russell led Salem finishing 11th, Graham and Ward were 13th and Damon Jennings and Landon White were 16th.
Orphans Fishing Team Continues To Compete
The Centralia fishing team has been busy the past couple weekends competing in the ICAST Series Tournament at Newton Lake. In the most recent event, Ethan Samples and Bentley Allen brought in the five fish limit weighing 12 pounds 13 ounces to place 44th out of 95 teams. Their big bass for the day was 3 pounds 4 ounces.
