Three people were airlifted to St. Louis Hospitals directly from the scene of a crash after two motorcycles collided on US 50 one mile east of Odin around one Saturday afternoon.
Preliminary information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates a cycle with 23-year-old Hunter Cripe and 20-year-old Chastity Cripe was turning into a driveway across from the Marion County Church of Christ when it collided with the second cycle driven by 72-year-old Larry Harris of Perkins Street in Odin.
Odin Firemen and United Medical Response assisted at the scene and helped get the three into the helicopters to be taken to St. Louis.
