The Salem Cheer season came to an end at the IHSA Edwardsville Sectionals on Saturday with a 14th place finish on a frustrating day for the squad. Salem had tested their music, but when it came time to compete there was a technical error out of their control that cost them points. Then they were told something they have done all season long was now illegal and cost them points as well. However, no matter how it ended, they had a great season as they compete for the first time in full routine.
