The Salem Wildcats failed in their bid to advance to the IHSA State Bowling Tournament next weekend finishing 1 spot from advancing at the Nu Bowl Mt Vernon Sectional.

Waterloo, Mt Vernon, Harrisburg and Breese Central will move on. Salem was 171 pins from advancing.
No Wildcat moved on individually as Nicholi Marhanka was just outside the cut line missing it by 8 pins shooting a 1281. Teammate Dylan Kuhns shot 1236. Mt Vernon’s Travin Elliott won the regional title. Elliott will bowl next year for McKendree University.
