The Salem Lady Wildcats came up short in their bid to win the Vandalia Mid-Winter tournament, falling to state-ranked Effingham in the finals 44-28. Jordan Kessler was the only Lady Cat in double figures with 13, Kinley Eagan added 7. Wolfe and Martin had 13 each for the Hearts.
