Salem Senior Jordan Kessler became the 13th member of the 1000-point club for the Lady Wildcats as she needed 15 and got exactly 15, including her final point from the free throw line to get to the milestone mark. She joins her mom and coach Megan Kessler as the first mother/daughter members of the club after Megan did it late in the 1999 season. Salem would fall in the game 56-38. St Anthony all-time leading scorer Nancy Ruholl led the Lady Bulldogs with 17 and Ali Ganneway finished with 15. Jordan is now just 75 points away from matching her mom with 1075 career points. Salem will play at Breese Central on Thursday night.
The Columbia Lady Eagles knocked off Centralia in overtime 62-56.
TTown improved to 16-2 with a road win at Civic Memorial 64-43. Anna Probst lead the Shoes with 16, Kelsey Niemerg added 15 and Allie Ruholl 12. Civic Memorial had a starter go down recently with a torn ACL and continues a horrendous stretch of injuries for the team as in 7 of the last 8 years they have lost a starter due to an ACL injury.
