It was a great weekend for Salem Cheerleading. On Saturday, the High School team competed at the ICCA State Competition. They were 19th out of 28 teams in Small 1a Full Routine. This was the first time in school history they qualified for full routine. Its the 3rd year in a row Salem has qualified for the state competition. They opened the competition with a 7th place in Large Varsity Gameday.
Mt Vernon was 2nd in Large Game Day.
Then on Sunday, the Franklin Park Cheer team finished 8th at their state tournament as they qualified for the first time ever to get to state.
