The Salem Lady Wildcats closed down their pre-holiday portion of their schedule with a 64-28 road win at Wood River as part of the Mega Day. Jordan Kessler had 20 for the Lady Cats and sophomore Katee Sellers came off the bench for 20 of her own. Kaylynn Buttry scored all 18 of Wood River’s 1st half points on her way to a game-high 26. Salem is off until the day after Christmas when they open up the Benton Tournament at 9am against Mt Vernon.

In other girls action, Benton beat Murphysboro 83-20, Carbondale over Cahokia 85-8, Carlyle routed Flora 59-29, Olney over Pana 62-46, TTown beat Paris 55-36 and Woodlawn over Carterville 39-37.
