The Salem Lady Wildcats fell on the road in Cahokia play at Freeburg 33-27. The Lady Wildcats had a hard time on the offensive end at a tough place to play. They will finish up their pre-Christmas portion of their schedule tomorrow with a trip to Wood River. There will be no JV game so the varsity game will tip off at 11:30 on WJBD.
The Centralia Annies earned a 49-29 win over Mascoutah as they prepare for the upcoming Mascoutah Tournament next week when the Annies open with Freeburg.
Taylor Trame scored 29 points as she led Breese Central to their 9th straight win, beating Columbia 69-22. Breese is 9-1 and 4-0 in the Cahokia Conference. Central will open up from the Mascoutah Tournament next week against the opening round winner between Freeburg or Centralia.
