The Salem Lady Wildcats held off a furious Columbia comeback as they earned a road Cahokia win last night 48-45. Jordan Kessler led the Lady Cats with 21 and Marah Johnson added 9. The Lady Wildcats return to B.E. Gum on Monday night when they host Newton.
Marion improved to 7-0 on the season as they won their South 7 opener over Mt Vernon 78-45. JaKiya Peterman led 6 in double figures for Marion with 19.
