A 44-year-old Pocahontas man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison in Bond County Court at Greenville on child pornography and weapons charges.

The case against Kyle Bradbury is part of Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s ongoing work, in collaboration with federal law enforcement agencies and local law enforcement officials throughout Illinois, to apprehend offenders who download and trade child sexual abuse material online.

Bradbury had earlier pleaded to five Class 1 felony counts of possession of child pornography and one Class 3 felony count of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

Raoul says those who prey upon and exploit innocent children must be held accountable.  He notes survivors and their families can face a lifetime of trauma, which is why his office will continue to collaborate with state and local authorities to help survivors receive justice to support their healing.
