An early Saturday morning fire has caused minor damage to a Salem home.
Salem Fire Protection District officials say the fire was at the Christy Spencer home at 1514 South College. The fire that had started to move into the attic was caused by an electrical short in a bathroom vent.
It was quickly extinguished.
The fire call came in at 2:30 Saturday morning.
Odin Firemen stood by at the Salem Fire Station in the event of another fire.
