The St. Mary-Willow Grove Wildcards are the St. Mary’s Boys Invitational champions! Friday night, in a barn burner, the Wildcards defeated the Selmaville Rockets 47-46. The game high scorer was Jimmy Gaston for the Wildcards with 25. Callen Williams added another 12 for the Wildcards.
For the Rockets, Rafe James led the way with 13. Lucas Howe put up another 12 and Isaac Knapp added 11.
3rd place winners are the Sandoval Jr. Blackhawks! They defeated Odin Eagles in a tough 45-38 victory. The game high scorer was Odin’s Seth Richardson with 16. Braeden Lyons added 10 more for the Eagles. For the Blackhawks, Camdyn Kelly was the high scorer with 13, followed by Marvin McClain with 10.
The Consolation Champions are the St. Rose Wildcats! In a 29-26 barn burner, they took down the Trinity Defenders when Gavin Schneider sank a 3 with only 2 seconds left in the game. The game high scorer was Defender Krue Huels with 12. Everett Jansen was the high scorer for the Wildcats with 11.
