New Hope finished off another amazing season winning the Class S state title 1-0 over Pinckneyville #204. It’s the 3rd straight state title for the Lady Panthers. The Summersville Lady Wildcats took 3rd place as they walked off on Willow Grove/St Mary in the trophy game 2-1.
Carterville won another Class L softball state title, this time beating West Frankfort 4-3. Flora took 3rd place beating Wolf Branch 10-7.
In Class M, Anna handed Okawville their only loss of the season winning the state championship 6-5. In the 3rd place game, Smithton beat Dupo 11-1.
