The 1a IHSA State Girls Golf Tournament will tee off today with Mt Carmel looking for a 5th straight state championship after dominating their way through this season yet again. St Anthony will also be in the team field.
Salem junior Mya Russell and Centralia senior Olivia Johnson will both be competing after qualifying out of the Monticello Sectional. They will be joined by Abby Steinkamp and Ava Meyer of Carlyle, Brileigh Bloemer and Molly Habing of TTown.
