Sandoval fell to Hoffman Trinity 7-6. Hunter Timmons, Bo Martinez, Waylon Hopkins and Landon Hays all drove in runs for Sandoval. Timmons struck out 5 and only allowed 2 hits on the mound.
The Patoka Mohawks baseball team is in action today at Central City.
Also in middle school baseball, Flora beat Carmi 11-1, Summersville 17-3 over Waltonville and Woodlawn beat Central City 15-3.
