The Franklin Park Bobcats will host Flora today after dominating Altamont Lutheran yesterday on the road 18-2. Salem got 2 RBI from Emit Gibson, EJ Wolfe, Tanner Purintun, Dakota Gregg and Easton Keller. Gregg, Eli Purdy and Nash Mulvaney combined to pitch in the win
Isaac Knapp had 3 hits as Selmaville shutout Sandoval 5-0. He would drive in 2 and score twice. Rafe James and Jacob Butts also drove in Rocket runs. Butts and Knapp combined for the win on the mound.
The St. Mary’s-Willow Grove Wildcards beat the Field Panthers 15-0 on 8th Grade Night to improve to 5-4 on the season. Benett Edwards and Brody Kasban combined for a 3 inning no-hitter. Edwards was 3-3 for at the plate with 3 RBI and Griffin Knowles also went 3-3 with 2 RBI. The Wildcards play Raccoon on Tuesday.
The SC Falcons honored their six 8th graders and then beat visiting Neoga 14-10 in a wild game. Nathan Knutt led SC with 4 RBI, Ben Skibinski and Dexten Lotz added 3 RBI. Jayden Smith was the winning pitcher allowing 1 hit in 2.2. He also doubled at the plate scoring 3 runs.
Nashville and Okawville played their “Strike Out Cancer” baseball and softball games. Okawville won both games winning the baseball game 12-2 and the softball game 4-2.
TTown beat Effingham 6-4 and Vandalia 15-0 over Staunton.
