The Salem Lady Wildcats volleyball team played Okawville last night and dropped their first game in 4 starts losing in 3 sets. They won the first set 25-17 and dropped the next two 18-25 and 20-25. Varsity is now 3-1. JV won in three sets. They won the first set 25-11, lost the second 24-26, and won the third set 15-9. JV is now 3-1.
The South Central Lady Cougars lost to Cisne in 2 sets 23-25, 16-25 to fall to 1-6 on the season. The JV won in 2 sets 25-16, 25-11 and are 2-1. In the varsity game, Bailey Wodkta and Lauren Johnson had 5 kills each, Sophia Wodtka and River Yingst combined for 11 assists. The Lady Cougars are back in action tonight at Cisne.
