The Franklin Park Bobcats opened their season on the road at Carmi and came away with a staggering 22-0 victory. Ben Lux led the way for the Bobcats at the plate with 4 RBI’s on two hits. Emit Gibson added another 3 runs on 3 hits. The Bobcats were on fire at the plate with 14 hits. Purdy, Gregg, and Squibb each added a pair of hits in the game as well. Dakota Gregg was the winning pitcher in the shutout victory. He struck out 6 allowing only 2 hits through 3 innings. The Bobcats are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Carterville for a 4:30p start.
