The SIHSAA has posted their Sportsmanship expectations for the season. This year for a first ejection of the year, a fan’s punishment will increase from a 2 to 3 game suspension. A player ejection will result in a 2 game suspension, the same for a coach.
If a fan happens to be ejected for a 2nd time, that fan will not be allowed to attend any SIJHSAA event for the remainder of the school year. A player or coach that is ejected for a 2nd time will miss 4 games.
Also any fan, player or coach who has been ejected must complete the Sportsmanship Course on the NFHS website before being permitted to attend any other SIJHSAA events.
