Bryan Hester, age 56 of Salem, formerly of Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Bryan was born on March 29, 1970, in Ottawa, IL the son of Richard and Barbara (Knott) Hester.
Survivors include his three children, Bryttany, Johnny, and Michelle; father, Richard; siblings, Rick, Jeff, Cindy, Julia, and Danny; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and one great grandchild, baby Sage.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Barbara Carter; granddaughter, Lanie Marie; brother, Eddie; special uncle, Charles Hester; and special cousins, Bub and Susie.
Bryan was a man who worked many jobs, from local handyman to sanitation work. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He had the gift of entertaining and always made others laugh.
A Graveside Service for Bryan Hester will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
