Paul R. Davis, 92, of Odin passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Centralia Manor. He was born on February 12, 1934, in Centralia, the son of Roy and Ethel (Donoho) Davis. He married the love of his life, Phyllis Deadmond on April 3, 1953, and she survives him in Odin.

Along with his wife, Phyllis Davis, of seventy-three blessed years, survivors include his children, Doug and wife Jeanette Davis of Odin, Dee Dee and husband Jim Smith of Salem, Darren and wife Kelly Davis of Troy, Darri Davis of Odin, and Donya and husband Cory Simpson of Odin; grandchildren, Christie and husband William Harden, Ashley Davis and husband Adam Goff, Brittany and husband Lee Cozadd, Courtney Davis, Payton Davis, Ami and husband Phil Haase, Chelsi and husband Kalon Greeves, Kristen and Zeke O’Brien, Katie and Jeff Kotani, Karianne Davis, and his only grandson, Raygen Simpson; and several great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ethel Davis; sisters, Jean Krieder, Louise Helpingstine, Pat Bierman, and Helen Davis; brothers, JW Davis, LeRoy “Curly Davis, Joe Davis, and Arthur Davis; and son, Donnie Davis.

Paul was a wonderful provider for his family, working as part of the sheet metal union until his retirement. Paul was a faithful member of Barr Christian Church. He was proud to call Odin his home and was active in supporting the community he loved. Paul served on the Odin Fire Department for thirty plus years and was a conscientious caretaker of Deadmond Cemetery in rural Sandoval for many years. He spent a lot of time outdoors, working on his lawn and taking good care of his vegetable garden. He was always generous with what he grew in his garden, sharing happily with grateful friends and neighbors. Paul looked forward to sharing a good cup of coffee and a doughnut while visiting with family and friends.

He was an animal lover who appreciated the companionship of his furry friends. Paul was a loving and supportive husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa who valued family time above all. Paul was one of the good guys, hard-working, respected, loyal and kind. He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval. Interment will follow at the cemetery he cared for in rural Sandoval, Deadmond Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home in Sandoval. Memorials may be made in Paul’s honor to Deadmond Cemetery.
