Lauren Renee Lusch, of Odin, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19th, 2026, at the age of 63 at her home. Born on a winter Tuesday, February 19, 1963, Lauren grew up with a deep sense of family and dedication to hard work that she carried with her throughout her life.

Lauren was a vibrant and cherished presence at the Salem Grace Church of the Nazarene, where she celebrated her faith and forged lasting friendships. She found true joy in tending to her backyard oasis, often seen blowing leaves or mowing grass, activities that brought her peace and reflected her industrious spirit. Her pride in graduating college after her children were grown was a testament to her relentless drive and commitment to personal growth.

She is fondly remembered by her beloved children: Caleb Lusch, and his wife Abbey of Salem, and her daughter, Callie Ray, and husband Michael (Shad) of Elizabethtown, KY. Lauren’s boundless love extended to her cherished grandchildren, Atticus and Adler Lusch, and Kinsley and Cayson Ray, as well as her significant other, Donnie Bishop of Odin, her stepchildren, Steven Bishop and Samantha Bishop, both of Salem. Her nurturing heart also embraced her niece, Whitney Purcell, and husband Walter Gallia, and their children, Anabella, Eden, and Daylin Gallia, her great-nieces and nephews. Friends who held a special place in her heart Michelle McNeil and husband Jeff of Centralia, Cheri Jahraus and fiance Ed Rankin of Salem, Kim McCoy and husband Greg of Centralia, and Cheri Griffith and husband Robert of Salem. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and community, including the treasured camaraderie of her best friends, “The Village Girls”, and many more best girl friends.

Lauren is preceded in death by her devoted parents, Jerry and Mary Ellen Jones, her loving sister, Becky Jones Purcell, and her cherished grandparents, Hershel and Alma Gordon, and Ralph and Thelma Jones.

A visitation to celebrate Lauren’s life will be held at Salem Grace Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 5:00 pm. at the church.
