Breese Central held on to beat Nashville in the Carlyle 2a semifinals 38-36. Kaden Rakers led Central with 20. Maddox Ritzel had 27 for Nashville and a chance at a three pointer for the lead with less than 10 seconds left that fell short. Nashville’s season ends at 22-10, while Central improves to 26-5 and will advance to take on Columbia in Friday’s finals.
The Eagles led Wesclin 41-37 heading to the 4th quarter, but used a 21-2 quarter to blow it open and pull out the 62-39 victory.
