Salem senior Owen Becker has been a force in power lifting since making his debut. He traveled to McKendree University over the weekend and competed in the 18u division. He lifted 1427 breaking the state record of 1405. Becker won the 18u division as he maxed at 496 pounds in the squat, 330 pounds in the bench press and dead lift was 600 pounds.
