After a slow start that saw the Lady Cats trail 8-2 after the opening quarter to Vandalia, the Lady Cats stormed back and would run away with their Lady Vandals Mid-Winter Tournament opener winning 44-26. Lauren Burge hit four three pointers on her way to 12 points. Jordan Kessler finished with 10 and Marah Johnson added 8. Salem advances to Thursday’s semifinal when they take on top-seed Effingham at 6pm.
