A 24-year-old Kinmundy woman was transferred to the Marion County Jail on Tuesday after being arrested in Fayette County on a Marion County traffic failure to appear warrant. Anna McCarty of North Monroe is being held until a first court appearance on the no bond warrant.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a home in the 2100 block of Richardson Road in rural Centralia. It occurred on Monday night. No additional information is yet available.
