A 32-year-old Iuka man was formally charged in Marion County Court on Monday with reckless discharge of a firearm and domestic battery.
Tyler Powless of Kasznel Road is accused of firing a handgun in a reckless manner in a pole barn on Sunday during an argument with another family member endangering her safety. He’s accused of domestic battery for allegedly shoving the same victim.
While the State’s Attorney sought to detain Powless, Judge Mark Stedelin released him on pretrial conditions pending a first appearance in court with counsel on January 15th.
