The Duster Thomas Tournament opens at Pinckneyville today and the Salem Wildcats will head into their 4pm matchup with Jerseyville with both teams sporting a 2-9 record. The Wildcats knocked off East Alton-Wood River on Saturday in their final game before the tournament. You can listen to all the Wildcat games from Pinckneyville on WJBD starting this afternoon at 4pm. The winner will play the winner of the 5:30 game between the host Panthers and Mt Carmel with the losers heading to the auxiliary gym, both 2nd round game will start at noon on Saturday.
The day begins at 9am with Carlyle and Trico followed by Murphysboro and Woodlawn at 10:30. Roxana and Chester will tip off at noon followed by state-ranked Benton taking on Steeleville at 1:30. At 7pm it’s Mounds Meridian taking on Okawville followed by Olney and Christopher at 8:30.
