In the 1a girls race, Williamsville was the team champion followed in the top five by Tolono Unity, Anna Jonesboro, El Paso Gridley and Chicago Latin. St Anthony was 16th, Mater Dei 29th and Althoff 30th. Kate Foltz of Tuscola was the champ followed by St Anthony’s Isabella Keller, Caroline Teppe of Okawville was 41st, Mater Dei’s Finley Haag was 100th, Nashville’s Adi Wilson was 138, Christ Our Rock’s Rylee Brammeier was 140th.
In the boys race, Northridge Prep was the champ followed by Elmwood, Eureka, Rockford Christian and Peoria Notre Dame. Pinckneyville was 15th, Benton 16 and Roxana 22nd. Chaz Oberkfell of Gillespie was the individual champion with Gabriel McLain of Benton 3rd with teammate Cole Buchanan 6th and Landen Boman of Pinckneyville was 15th, Evan Eberhart of Nashville was 78th, Carson Pigg of Christ Our Rock was 119th, Mater Dei’s Nolan Goebel was 136.
In the girls 2a race, St Ignatius Prep won the team title followed in the top five by DePaul College Prep, Chatham Glenwood, Boylan Catholic and Rochester. Waterloo finished 13th, Carterville 15th and Mascoutah was 28th. Sundara Weber of Sandwich was the individual champion. Olney’s Mackenzi Thomas was 99th, Effingham’s Jessica Larsen was 115th.
The Mt Vernon Rams finished 19th in the 2a men’s race. Chicago Payton won the event followed by Morton, Chicago Latin, Dixon and Kaneland. Marion was 14th and Civic Memorial was 18th. Finn Richards of Lisle Benet Academy was the champion. Quaid Berger of Olney was 35th, Rowan Wilford of Mt Vernon was 64th, teammate Trace Elliott was 89th, Joey Hayes 106th, Carson Workman 126th, Jayden Jones 153, Liam Brandon 165, Ayden Warren 206th.
