Centralia Halloween Parade Chair Butch Mathus is extremely pleased with the turnout of this year’s Halloween Parade.  He credits the great weather and community participation.

“It was a wonderful day for all the entrants that came in today. We had a lot of wonderful entries, and it was kind of a hard choice for some of them, so a tip of the hat for everybody who participated in the 97th annual Halloween Parade. I look forward to getting started on planning everything next year for 2025.”

Grand Marshal Herb Williams commended the committee on a job well done.

“What a great night, great day. It’s something that Centralia can be proud of, Butch can be proud of, it’s just something that’s well executed. It was a lot of people that I knew and a lot of hollering ‘Hey Herb,’ and so forth… it was a beautiful day.”

The Harley Queen trophy was present to the ABATE organization for their loat entitle Halloween in the French Quarter.  Williams presented the Grand Marshal’s trophy to the Alternative Learning Academy and their entry entitled ‘ALA World Tour-Journey for Harmony’.
